Villa La Perla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ren Xi Chen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Delmar Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Ren Xi Chen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe. Adan Bembe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the April 25 SC defense, Pelle Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Romero. The April 25 SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Romero should have stopped the shot. Adan Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro James, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. April 25 SC's Sergio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save April 25 SC from getting a goal against them. Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Xi Chen in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Pelle Maradona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa La Perla's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Maradona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of April 25 SC booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pelle Maradona took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. April 25 SC's Ren Xi Chen got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ren Xi Chen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Urti. Adan Bembe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ren Xi Chen. In the 55th minute, Cleto Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Augustyn hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe got control of the ball when Ramiro James tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, April 25 SC's Adan Bembe threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ren Xi Chen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ren Xi Chen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Adan Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. April 25 SC made a substitution. Michel Platini replaced Antoni Augustyn. Färhad Cämilov hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Adan Bembe made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ren Xi Chen sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, April 25 SC's Mieszko Trac got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Pelle Maradona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Cristobal Paez struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sergio Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa La Perla. April 25 SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Villa La Perla had won, even though April 25 SC had held more of the ball.
