Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. If Isaias Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Isaias Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Raulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Isaias Jakue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 26th minute, Amador Hartz made a precise shot to the right of Máximo Correia. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Donato Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Filimon Gamburtsev heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Isaias Jakue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Raulo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Amador Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Correia came out of the goal and Amador Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sporting Buceo fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Hartz made a kick off. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC made a substitution. Feliberto Sindo replaced Amador Hartz. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Costin Cârneci was substituted for Filiph Månsson. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Sebastian Muc replaced Filimon Gamburtsev. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anana Lider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Máximo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Sindo in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Cârneci came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Anana Lider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Costin Cârneci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Máximo Correia was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Máximo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Cârneci in the 91st minute of the match. In the 98th minute Feliberto Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sporting Buceo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
