In the 12th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Hartz in the 15th minute of play. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Roberto Perfumo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomas Cordaryal, made in the 20th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Amador Hartz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Cordarrell during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes NANANANA LIIIDEER FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cordarrell. In the 38thth minute of the game Amador Hartz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Hartz who took care of the corner kick. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Donato Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 43rd minute of play. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Gabriele Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Donato Raulo, making the score, 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Donato Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Donato Raulo made a huge save. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Agustin Serafo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frédéric Chopin in the 74 minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Donato Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Donato Raulo got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Sergi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Claudinho Taffarel missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Camilo Salvidor right hand side. Menchu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
