After some careless play in the Deportivo Popolizio FBC defense, Fulvio Vittorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermann Hesse. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermann Hesse should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Basualdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dani Vassaras having to make a save. La France FC's Dani Vassaras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save La France FC from getting a goal against them. Dani Vassaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes La France FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Cambiasso. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Edward Kaczor got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 20th minute of play. Dani Vassaras was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Bartolo Basualdo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bartolo Basualdo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Moizuk in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Vittorio came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Moizuk came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Basualdo made a kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Bartolo Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Basualdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Erruki Velarroa replaced Bartolo Basualdo. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Tibor Nyilasi replaced Nils Gielis. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez was substituted for Gaizkine Ibern. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Vittorio in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Fulvio Vittorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Erruki Velarroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of La France FC booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Regulez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as La France FC's Ryszard Percha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hermann Hesse. That made the score 2-3 after 88 minutes of play. Tibor Nyilasi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, La France FC's Hermann Hesse threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ryszard Percha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When La France FC's Ryszard Percha in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La France FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
