In the 16th minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David De Gea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Roni Ronaldinho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frank Frankfurter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Palben in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Roni Ronaldinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David De Gea was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 77th minute Timoteo Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Schalke 04's David De Gea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper David De Gea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Edinson Haaland made a precise shot to the right of David De Gea. FC Schalke 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. FC Schalke 04's Călin Rădescu was substituted for Juarês Alves. FC Schalke 04 made a substitution. Narciso Tonete replaced William Skoog. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinson Haaland got free with David De Gea in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Călin Rădescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
