Sait Sarı hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Radu Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Eneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Proca having to interfere. Potencial Desperdiciado F's attentive Teagan Petukas managed to snatch the ball when Bartolo Cordero made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Rufo in the 17th minute of the match. Froilan Sancho made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Tomas Rufo sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Gryffindor Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Isusko to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Ganix in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Rufo got free with Froilan Sancho in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Hugo Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Sancho was a little too slow when Hugo Ganix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0.

Potencial Desperdiciado F made a substitution. Iraido Treviño replaced Hugo Ganix. The wind increased when Iraido Treviño made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Iraido Treviño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraido Treviño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Froilan Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Rufo in the 67th minute of the match. Gryffindor Lions's Froilan Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Panfilo in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Rufo in the 76th minute of play forced Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Froilan Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Rufo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Sancho saved Gryffindor Lions from getting behind. Froilan Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Slazak in the 87th minute of play. Potencial Desperdiciado F's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osmar Baiano in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Osmar Baiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gryffindor Lions's Froilan Sancho did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Gryffindor Lions's zone, Tomas Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Sancho came out of the goal and Tomas Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes, Raimundo Panfilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potencial Desperdiciado F and the Gryffindor Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tomas Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potencial Desperdiciado F's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Rufo in the 98th minute of play forced Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Froilan Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potencial Desperdiciado F walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
