With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobald Karanewski in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Falco saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sami Zübeyr kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Călin Ghioncu. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Stefan Dobay struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tristan Falco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpathians. 15 minutes into the match, Carpathians's Teobald Karanewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Falco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tristan Falco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobald Karanewski went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpathians's goalie prevented a goal. Teobald Karanewski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Falco. Tristan Falco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Călin Ghioncu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Ghioncu saved Carpathians from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Sami Zübeyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dieter Nisipeanu hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

51 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Karanewski came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Sami Zübeyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carpathians made a substitution. Gheorghe Ciurea replaced Teobald Karanewski. Călin Ghioncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Carpathians's Gheorghe Ciurea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Falco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Felix Lucaci replaced Martin Costeiantu. Carpathians's Stelian Bălășescu was substituted for Alin Nichitelea. Carpathians's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Connor Hughes in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 80th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Călin Ghioncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sami Zübeyr struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Călin Ghioncu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. Leontin Ţurcaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Falco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leontin Ţurcaş ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Nisipeanu. After a rather tough play, Carpathians's Troizen Giannakopoulos got a free kick in the 95th minute. Călin Ghioncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 96th minute of play. The FC Maci -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carpathians's performance. The match ended with a win for Carpathians.
