The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Wisnewski made a kick off. The supporters of Carpathians booed when Slavo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Papakostas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Slavo FC defense, Teobald Karanewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Sanches. The Slavo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Sanches should have stopped the shot. Carpathians made a substitution. Stefan Dobay replaced Teobald Karanewski. Carpathians's Gheorghe Ciurea was substituted for Ercan Sabahaddin. After some careless play in the Slavo FC defense, Stefan Dobay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Sanches. The Slavo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Sanches should have stopped the shot. Otávio Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes Slavo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Connor Hughes who took care of the corner kick. Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Dobay in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Slavo FC booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Lipan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Stefan Dobay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Dobay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Carpathians were the better team. Carpathians's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
