The East Dulwich United fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when East Dulwich United's Lex van der Werff looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute of the match Basmane Texas got a corner. In the 14th minute, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Lex van der Werff came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sari Bo Shehri in the 28th minute of play. Erik Allikmäe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanek Ochylski having to make a save. With a little luck, East Dulwich United's Tanek Ochylski got control of the ball when Serkan Kocaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Basmane Texas's Erik Allikmäe made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Ochylski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gürsel Aksel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Ochylski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Gürsel Aksel took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Tanek Ochylski to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lex van der Werff to make the kick off. In the 73rd minute Gürsel Aksel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, East Dulwich United's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Aksel came free, but Tanek Ochylski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürsel Aksel in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Ochylski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Basmane Texas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Serkan Kocaman hit a great ball. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Ulvi Gencal replaced Borys Budarz. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Ignatios Ksiromeritis replaced Gürsel Aksel. After having played for 85 minutes, Ignatios Ksiromeritis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basmane Texas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Ksiromeritis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Ignatios Ksiromeritis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tanek Ochylski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Ksiromeritis in the 94th minute of the match. East Dulwich United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
