After 5 minutes, Kartal Canol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe SK and the FK Green United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kartal Canol kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jago Oper in the 11th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Arda Göksel Taylak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Rosenfelder made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rahim Bucuklu sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Green United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Süleyman Elçin was slow to take the kick. During this time Fenerbahçe SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FK Green United's goalie and right to Artaç Oray. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FK Green United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Süleyman Elçin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Rosenfelder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süleyman Elçin in the 22nd minute of play forced FK Green United's goalkeeper Ralph Rosenfelder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, FK Green United's Jago Oper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arda Göksel Taylak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kartal Canol was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe SK's Kartal Canol got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th match minute, Fenerbahçe SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ozan Sezen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe SK's Süleyman Elçin got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Derya Kayıboylu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe SK's protests and gave Derya Kayıboylu a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İlkan Behram was the one to do the kick off. Ralph Rosenfelder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süleyman Elçin in the 53rd minute of play. Ralph Rosenfelder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süleyman Elçin in the 54th minute of the match. FK Green United's Ralph Rosenfelder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süleyman Elçin in the 59th minute of play. Ralph Rosenfelder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlkan Behram's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Remigio Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Fenerbahçe SK's Arda Göksel Taylak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jago Oper in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Rahim Bucuklu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Rosenfelder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommi Grefen's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The score was now 0-2. In the 85th minute FK Green United were awarded a corner. Jago Oper went to the cornerflag to take it. 92 minutes into the match, Süleyman Elçin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Rosenfelder. FK Green United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süleyman Elçin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
