Herman Dresselbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Stig Busk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xentrias's Stig Busk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Xentrias from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goalkeeper Stig Busk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry Houghton. Barry Houghton took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Busk. Stig Busk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Banan in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dragonf⮊rcE's Virgílio Coelho. In the 26th minute, Jan Banan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, Barry Houghton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig Busk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute Otto Norström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Guerrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Barry Houghton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Houghton got free with Stig Busk in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Jan Banan. Barry Houghton might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Busk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Houghton ran back to his position shaking his head. Xentrias's Stig Busk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Xentrias from getting a goal against them. Jan Banan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Fang Yang Fei threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dragonf⮊rcE's Vítor Veiga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 46th minute, Jerónimo Pais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Barry Houghton ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 played minutes Dragonf⮊rcE got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Veiga. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Pedro Pauleta. If Barry Houghton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Jan Banan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Barry Houghton came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Dragonf⮊rcE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Houghton couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Lukas Bjursell got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dragonf⮊rcE made a substitution. Karin Benzema replaced Barry Houghton. Stig Busk came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragonf⮊rcE's Karin Benzema. But to his dismay, Karin Benzema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 89 minutes of play, Dragonf⮊rcE's Karin Benzema made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Busk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dragonf⮊rcE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
