Brazilio Butt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Gao Xi Di. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Bâlea in the 18th minute. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Henric Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nevşehirspor's Goliath Phoenix managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eliézer Nascimento in the 39 minute of the game. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Jonasson made a kick off. Leonard Gregersen made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ulf Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Paşa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brazilio Butt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emre Mor who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Nordlander got free with Leonard Gregersen in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 62nd minute of play. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 65th minute of the match. After 66th play minutes Ahmet Paşa shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Brazilio Butt and just under the crossbar into goal. Nevşehirspor's José Paulo Passos was substituted for Conrado Domingues. 71 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Jonasson. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Ahmet Paşa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brazilio Butt. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brazilio Butt should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Paşa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ahmet Paşa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 91st minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
