The PomeziaRamblers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claus Himschoot should have stopped the shot. Sven-Åke Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claus Himschoot having to make a save. Danny Jumel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuido Suursaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kristopher Le Saux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute of the match Adrián Frick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danny Jumel skillfully saved the ball. Claus Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Kristopher Le Saux sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 33 minutes, Noel Hargrave managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gloucester City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Hargrave was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristopher Le Saux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Claus Himschoot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Gloucester City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Piers Giles. Danny Jumel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Maximo Hanot hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristopher Le Saux made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Wes Carragher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Gloucester City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee showed Alfonso Iezzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 67 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Le Saux came free, but Claus Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Noel Hargrave notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot. Claus Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claus Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Le Saux in the 84th minute of the match. Claus Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Carragher in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Ljungberg got free with Danny Jumel in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
