The crowd rose to their feet as Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Vanden Broucke. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 25th minute Reinard Hennes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn Van de Weijer in the 37th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilian Hunaerts hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Twelve Ravens were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Fecha Libre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart De Coster took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Reinard Hennes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiliano Martínez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 45 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Van de Weijer came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bjorn Van de Weijer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Twelve Ravens's Bjorn Van de Weijer got a free kick in the 51st minute. Roland Vanden Broucke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martins Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martins Palermo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roland Vanden Broucke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Vanden Broucke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roland Vanden Broucke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Roland Vanden Broucke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Van de Weijer came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Twelve Ravens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Verstappen to maneuver through the defense. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Igli Tare notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Igli Tare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fecha Libre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Fecha Libre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
