Anatol Hönes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Matías Berger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex László in the 15th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Lyon 69ers's Gerardo Abeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 21st match minute, BRIGADE 84 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by García Blazquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Gerardo Abeitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 36 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Antonin Lory. In the 37th minute, Alex László got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guy Durant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Warburton, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dariusz Olender hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Brett Slade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Durant having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex László made a kick off. Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex László in the 60th minute of play. Matías Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Abeitia in the 64th minute of play. Matías Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatol Hönes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Gerardo Abeitia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when BRIGADE 84 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. 胡卫军 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slaveyko Grúbchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Abeitia's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Philip Warburton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BRIGADE 84's Oliver Hopgood was substituted for Philip Warburton. Matías Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Boureau in the 80th minute of the match. Matías Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Lyon 69ers got a corner. BRIGADE 84's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Slaveyko Grúbchev ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mathias Lecanu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anatol Hönes hit a great ball. Matías Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Beaune, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lyon 69ers fully deserved thier win.
