Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. Club Vertigo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. David Oihan scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Jun Bo to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Silverio Chuan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Oihan in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Caranfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
