The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Black Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Mroczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Czeslaw Tipinski got free with Black Boruc in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Black Boruc made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Czeslaw Tipinski sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute of the match Dwight Schrute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Siekierski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franciszek Modliszewski's late challenge caught a LEGIA Bielany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franciszek Modliszewski helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Brow Team got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Modliszewski. Rodrygo Goes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Siekierski having to interfere. In the 31st minute Franciszek Modliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Black Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Tipinski lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Black Boruc. Brow Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrzej Cichocki in the 39th minute. After taking down the ball on Brow Team's corner Mariusz Mroczynski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Black Boruc quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Franciszek Dresik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brow Team's Igor Siekierski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 41 minutes on the clock, Korneliusz Ciempa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brow Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Brow Team:s Igor Siekierski showed great skill when he stopped Rodrygo Goes:s penalty. After 44 minutes Brow Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dwight Schrute who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dwight Schrute almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brow Team's Igor Siekierski did a great save. 48 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrygo Goes came free, but Igor Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Tipinski was the one to do the kick off. When Rodrygo Goes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the LEGIA Bielany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrygo Goes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Brow Team's Igor Siekierski got control of the ball when Franciszek Dresik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrygo Goes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Siekierski. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. In the 69th minute Rodrygo Goes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brow Team's Kryspin Owsiak got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Igor Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franciszek Dresik in the 73rd minute. Hannibal Lecter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Owsiak in the 77th minute of play forced LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Black Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrygo Goes in the 84th minute of play. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrygo Goes in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Franciszek Dresik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEGIA Bielany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franciszek Dresik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. The supporters of LEGIA Bielany booed when Brow Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Tipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodrygo Goes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
