An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Colillas in the 13th minute of play forced Red Bulls's goalkeeper Pankracy Pyrtek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Pyrtek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 14th minute of the match. The wind increased when Spiros Bekyros made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Red Bulls booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Giacomozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 50 minutes into the match, Red Bulls's Boruc Kornatowski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Colillas in the 65th minute of play forced Red Bulls's goalkeeper Pankracy Pyrtek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Spiros Bekyros took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Pankracy Pyrtek to make any attempt to save it. Pankracy Pyrtek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salbatore Colillas in the 75th minute of play. Beto Sola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Coporan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Marcio Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Pyrtek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Tomas Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Sola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yosif Bakrachev sped through FCSB CUENCA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beto Sola. Beto Sola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yosif Bakrachev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Boruc Kornatowski hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Salbatore Colillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Red Bulls's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
