After having played for 12 minutes, Lino Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute of the game Jan Hop made a throw-in which Romulo Abilio played forward. Ruben Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Roberto Eztebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Fender. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AFC FUSION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claes Fender was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Fender in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claes Fender was the one to do the kick off. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's attentive André Kuipers managed to snatch the ball when Mario Sesuldo made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match, Lino Rios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruben Montez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Fender in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Fender came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Johannes Sjögren replaced Claes Fender. In the 71st minute of the game Wojciech Fiszer made a throw-in which Dawid Beckham played forward. After some careless play in the AFC FUSION defense, Johannes Sjögren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Eztebe. The AFC FUSION fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Eztebe should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Montez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Hop who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Guido Txindoki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Montez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Johannes Sjögren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
