The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Carvalho in the 3rd minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Alirio Ducoing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Joaquim Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Alirio Ducoing. Q. T. I.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Nuri Mansız in the 7th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Alirio Ducoing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Raymundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Saip Baltaş made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Raymundo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saip Baltaş. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Alirio Ducoing came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Salamanca UDS's Osman Nuri Mansız. But to his dismay, Osman Nuri Mansız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Saip Baltaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alirio Ducoing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osman Nuri Mansız in the 29th minute of play. Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 30th minute of play. Saip Baltaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 32nd minute of play. Saip Baltaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jonas Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Saip Baltaş made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Q. T. I.'s Jonas Henrico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Q. T. I.'s Wilfredo Uxio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nedim Uygu in the 39 minute of the game. Alirio Ducoing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Nuri Mansız in the 42nd minute of the match. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Horacio Dolfo replaced Leopoldo Vermudo. In the 44th minute Salamanca UDS were awarded a corner. David Holmstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Salamanca UDS's Leopold Heinloo got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Osman Nuri Mansız came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Q. T. I.'s Jonas Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Nedim Uygu in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Q. T. I.'s Wilfredo Uxio. Saip Baltaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 54th minute of play. Anibal Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Baltaş having to interfere. Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 59th minute of play. Q. T. I.'s Casimiro Guillelmus was substituted for Julian Raymundo. Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran was substituted for Carlos Sergi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Nuri Mansız got free with Alirio Ducoing in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Lluques in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saip Baltaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Q. T. I.'s Lisandro Abeita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saip Baltaş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Guillelmus in the 78th minute of play. Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Carvalho in the 81st minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salamanca UDS! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Q. T. I.. Justo Florian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saip Baltaş. 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Lluques in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saip Baltaş saved Salamanca UDS from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Alirio Ducoing made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Osman Nuri Mansız sent off a good shot on target. In the 97thth minute of the game Anibal Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Q. T. I. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salamanca UDS for a fine match.
