In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ANC's goalkeeper Martin Tudor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Tudor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pulpo1971 FC made a substitution. Ignado Bozo replaced Grabiel Arcelay. In the 86th minute Artemio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Valentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eate Olar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Pulpo1971 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfiro Revilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Tudor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC ANC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pulpo1971 FC to win.
