The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kemal Salman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayrullah Ortan's late challenge caught a Piquirenda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrullah Ortan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hayrullah Ortan hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bernal came free, but İsa Ulaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Bator. 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's attentive Henrik Larsson managed to snatch the ball when Olgierd Bator made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. İsa Ulaç came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Piquirenda FC's Eugenio Bernal. But to his dismay, Eugenio Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's Tolga Yeğiner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. İsa Ulaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolga Yeğiner hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Mehmet Şahtürk in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Piquirenda FC's Olgierd Bator. When Eugenio Bernal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The İsa Ulaç was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Yılmaz Berat came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yılmaz Berat couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bernal in the 56th minute of play forced 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's goalkeeper İsa Ulaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
