Gordon Suarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Arotza having to make a save. Zacarias Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Arroyo Dulce's Eustacio Curcio got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Gordon Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Vanadio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon Suarez couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Aaron Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Sequeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Suarez in the 13th minute of play. Vanadio F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maxin Oces in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Errapel Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Servando Ariztimuño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanadio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Servando Ariztimuño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Suarez in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vanadio F.C.'s zone, Segundo Foro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulin Sequeiros came out of the goal and Segundo Foro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Arroyo Dulce got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Hermelando. In the 35th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaime Abar to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Lidon got free with Paulin Sequeiros in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Suarez in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arroyo Dulce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maxin Oces was slow to take the kick. During this time Vanadio F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Aaron Odilon charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Odilon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Odilon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustão Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gordon Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulin Sequeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Curcio in the 54th minute of play. Gordon Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Zacarias Arotza made a huge save. Gordon Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zacarias Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Eustacio Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Arotza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leizarraga Olmedo. After 65 minutes, Leizarraga Olmedo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Vanadio F.C.'s Bekir Çağan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Arotza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Odilon in the 81st minute of play. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Lidon in the 84th minute of the match. Bekir Çağan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Arroyo Dulce defense, Gordon Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Arotza. The Arroyo Dulce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Arotza should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bekir Çağan in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arroyo Dulce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leizarraga Olmedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Vanadio F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Arroyo Dulce's goalie and right to Bekir Çağan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Arroyo Dulce's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Leizarraga Olmedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arroyo Dulce supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vanadio F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Vanadio F.C..
