The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that He Song couldn't finish the play. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Song, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ate Veninga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. He Song took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mirko Vervoort. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Lautaro Morales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Song in the 23rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that He Song's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mirko Vervoort was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Bram Wessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Bram Wessel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mirko Vervoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Song, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. İrfan Sancar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and He Song made a kick off. Mirko Vervoort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, He Song made a precise shot to the right of Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ's Lautaro Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ate Veninga in the 64th minute of play. Lautaro Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Moorlag, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. İrfan Sancar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mirko Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Sancar in the 74th minute of play. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Wessel in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Holthuis. 77 minutes into the match, Well-Well O'Connell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mirko Vervoort, 2-4. Mirko Vervoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well O'Connell, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ got a corner. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romulo Esiquio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 86 minutes into the match, İrfan Sancar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mirko Vervoort, 2-5. With a little luck, Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort got control of the ball when İrfan Sancar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Well-Well O'Connell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mijdrecht Maffia's zone, İrfan Sancar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirko Vervoort came out of the goal and İrfan Sancar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ψ S.F 25 de Mayo Ψ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
