Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Alcantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Kobe Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ona Somrient FC's Turi Guijarro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Fernan Alcantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enzo Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edmílson Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Odysseus Lindenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Herrero in the 34th minute of play. Ona Somrient FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Fire Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nechifor Hârșu took the corner. When Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Odysseus Lindenmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Fire Devils made a substitution. Falko Domini replaced Edmílson Gaúcho. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kobe Bryant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Bryant came free, but Odysseus Lindenmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falko Domini kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sven-Arne Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Claude Erosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Bryant in the 63rd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Odysseus Lindenmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Herrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odysseus Lindenmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Falko Domini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fire Devils's Robin Andermatt was substituted for Garson Pfäffli. Odysseus Lindenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kobe Bryant in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Falko Domini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Erosa was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Odysseus Lindenmann was a little too slow when Enzo Herrero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. Ona Somrient FC made a substitution. Martin Silbestre replaced Enzo Herrero. Ona Somrient FC's Rodolfo Dias was substituted for Áron Jánosi. Narcis Druță kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Nechifor Hârșu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odysseus Lindenmann skillfully saved the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Kobe Bryant notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann. Odysseus Lindenmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute of the match, Rodolfo Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Odysseus Lindenmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Ona Somrient FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ona Somrient FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
