Martin Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Moises Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on LA DEL MONO's corner Elpidio Guillelmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Abadia quite easily take care of the ball. Martin Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Los Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Hultstrand to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Piratas FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Moises Luzea hit a great ball. LA DEL MONO's Edelmiro Paskal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elliot Hultstrand in the 41 minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cervera in the 52nd minute of play. Higinio Botello's late challenge caught a Los Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Botello helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Higinio Botello got a free kick in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Abadia. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. Elliot Hultstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Abadia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Fabio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 75 minutes LA DEL MONO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 俞广扬 who took care of the corner kick. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herald Roockeloes in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Botello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Urbasa in the 92nd minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Piratas FC's zone, Elpidio Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Abadia came out of the goal and Elpidio Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Los Piratas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LA DEL MONO's performance. The match ended with a win for LA DEL MONO.
