In the 8th minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azulgrana 81's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamin Neto was slow to take the kick. During this time Gastres FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Calistrat Geangu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 16 minutes of play, Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Peyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Claus to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lenin came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azulgrana 81's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 29th minute of play. Benjamin Neto took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Peyo. Cirilo Peyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Szilárd Szaniszló hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, one of Gastres FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Palban walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Vladimir Lenin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Ongile came out of the goal and Vladimir Lenin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benjamin Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match Zacarias Claus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cirilo Peyo skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Lenin made a kick off. Teobaldo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Peyo having to interfere. If Segundo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Azulgrana 81 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Teobaldo Belmiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cirilo Peyo. The goal made the score 0-3. If Calistrat Geangu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Peyo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Benjamin Neto sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Azulgrana 81's Cirilo Peyo got control of the ball when Teobaldo Belmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dante Palban fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azulgrana 81's protests and gave Dante Palban a yellow card for diving instead. Gastres FC made a substitution. Edgardo Javiar replaced Benjamin Neto. In the 83rd minute, Dante Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Geangu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
