The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roland Záhoran struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Kyriakos Matsikidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Kyriakos Matsikidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFK Petržalka's attentive Isac Dichiseanu managed to snatch the ball when Orestis Vasilakopoulos made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Kyriakos Matsikidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Papageorgopoulos got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Roland Záhoran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Záhoran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Orestis Vasilakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Roland Záhoran managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Záhoran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyriakos Matsikidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's 史景庭 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Fisher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kyriakos Matsikidis. A very good chance. Roland Záhoran's late challenge caught a Kolopetinitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Záhoran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Roland Záhoran hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Roland Záhoran managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryan Reyna made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Roland Záhoran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Matsikidis came out of the goal and Roland Záhoran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Záhoran in the 53rd minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Kyriakos Matsikidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryan Reyna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Matsikidis having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Vassilis Karataidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Fisher. Vassilis Karataidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Záhoran in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. Kolopetinitsa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conor Barco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Conor Barco made a great header on AFK Petržalka's corner, it was just that Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis managed to reach the ball for a save. Roland Záhoran might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyriakos Matsikidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Záhoran ran back to his position shaking his head. Kyriakos Matsikidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Záhoran in the 64th minute of the match. Roland Záhoran might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyriakos Matsikidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Záhoran ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Orestis Vasilakopoulos with Dionysis Papageorgopoulos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kyriakos Matsikidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Záhoran in the 78th minute of play. 史景庭 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Záhoran struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kyriakos Matsikidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. Orestis Vasilakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Roland Záhoran came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Záhoran couldn't finish the play. Kolopetinitsa's 史景庭 got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Roland Záhoran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kyriakos Matsikidis was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The AFK Petržalka supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kolopetinitsa's performance. The match ended with a win for Kolopetinitsa.
