Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filippus Einvarðsson got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Máni Raufarhöfn getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ferdinand Harðarson hit a great ball. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Máni Raufarhöfn's goalkeeper Angi Finnbogason, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnaldo Marquezs short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Angi Finnbogason to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 19 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angi Finnbogason was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angi Finnbogason read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Arnaldo Marquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Angi Finnbogason when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Máni Raufarhöfn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Arnaldo Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Angi Finnbogason, making the score, 2-0. If Arnaldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnaldo Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Marquez couldn't finish the play. Angi Finnbogason stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Marquez's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Máni Raufarhöfn's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Marquez came free, but Angi Finnbogason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Arnaldo Marquez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angi Finnbogason. The goal made the score 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Máni Raufarhöfn's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Arnaldo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angi Finnbogason breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. When Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Máni Raufarhöfn's goalie prevented a goal. Angi Finnbogason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanalp Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Okanalp Özdil notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Máni Raufarhöfn's Angi Finnbogason. Angi Finnbogason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dómaldi Hinriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marciano Lekubegi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angi Finnbogason. Máni Raufarhöfn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Okanalp Özdil took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angi Finnbogason. Angi Finnbogason dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 81 minutes into the game, Guttormur Arason threw the ball into play from the sideline. Candelaria FC's Anak Agung Agafonnikov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Angi Finnbogason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanalp Özdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes Máni Raufarhöfn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marciano Lekubegi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Candelaria FC's Marciano Lekubegi to fire away a dangerous shot which Angi Finnbogason despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angi Finnbogason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Agung Agafonnikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candelaria FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Máni Raufarhöfn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Lekubegi took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Alzamendi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Candelaria FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
