THE CLUB's Elpidio Cordareo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorginho Brodel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guo Ling Nan came out of the goal and Ma Tian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE CLUB made a substitution. Themis Pepper replaced Preslav Famparski. Xiao Chen Cheng's late challenge caught a JULM C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Cordareo in the 87th minute of play. Jorginho Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Pepper in the 93rd minute of play. When Tiburcio Lejalde came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the JULM C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Lejalde couldn't finish the play. JULM C.F. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over THE CLUB's much stronger midfield.
