A collision led to Victoria Mlawa getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bogumil Tamulewicz hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Andrew Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geoff Mullen lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Victoria Mlawa booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Mullen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Alberto Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kryspin Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Prata in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata got control of the ball when Walter Van Mechelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sebastião Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 40th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Gomes. Mario Alberto Secco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Henrique Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria Mlawa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrão Prata made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Grêmio Bulls's Kryspin Dembkowski threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedrão Prata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Andrew Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Oláh kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Ernesto Falcão replaced Wei Shu Gang. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Victoria Mlawa were victorious despite being under pressure from Grêmio Bulls for much of the match.
