Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavian Jähnigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Nared in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Cris Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Cris Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cris Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Ali Kürşat Aurelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cris Gol in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fiori Mota saved Vila Nova FC from getting behind. Octavian Jähnigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lara in the 23rd minute of play. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Octavian Jähnigen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Cris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 29th minute of play forced Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Predador Brasiliense MZBR's protests and gave Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Vila Nova FC got a corner. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luca Postelnicescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cris Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Gol came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fiori Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Leonardo Giroud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octavian Jähnigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Giroud in the 42nd minute of the match. In the game's 43rd minute Vila Nova FC's Leonardo Giroud took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Octavian Jähnigen and thus the score was 1-1.

Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. António Sobral replaced Cris Gol. The wind increased when Luca Postelnicescu made the kick off in the second half. Octavian Jähnigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lara in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Vila Nova FC were awarded a corner. Luca Postelnicescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Octavian Jähnigen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Sobral came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Predador Brasiliense MZBR booed when Vila Nova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael hit a great ball. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Raúl Palomar replaced Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Pedrinho Salgado was substituted for Asrın Dirsehan. In the 62nd minute, Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Nared in the 69th minute of play forced Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vila Nova FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lam Baril got free with Fiori Mota in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Nova FC from getting a goal against them. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lam Baril in the 80th minute of the match. Pedrinho Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Sobral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Jähnigen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Vladimir Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Jähnigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes Vila Nova FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho Salgado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Pedrinho Salgado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota did a great save. In the 92nd minute, Vladimir Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Predador Brasiliense MZBR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vila Nova FC.
