Heitor Horta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugdim Kalajdžić's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Ponte do Carro's Altino Guerreiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Veselin Pejović. Veselin Pejović yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With his leg Veselin Pejović managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Ponte do Carro's Eusébio Leão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FISHBONE 06's Veselin Pejović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FISHBONE 06 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Veríssimo Taveira hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdal Ratkić in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Horta saved Ponte do Carro from getting behind. When FISHBONE 06's Erdal Ratkić in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponte do Carro's goalie prevented a goal. Veselin Pejović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Corte-Real, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veselin Pejović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altino Guerreiro in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Hajrudin Zizović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FISHBONE 06's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hajrudin Zizović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heitor Horta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdal Ratkić in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erdal Ratkić made a kick off. After 50 played minutes FISHBONE 06 got a freekick which was hit by Anel Srna. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind FISHBONE 06's goalkeeper Veselin Pejović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Assunção to maneuver through the defense. FISHBONE 06's Bogoljub Ristić shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Heitor Horta but with some difficulty. In the 65th minute, Altino Guerreiro made a precise shot to the right of Veselin Pejović. FISHBONE 06's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 71 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Leão. The supporters of FISHBONE 06 booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdal Ratkić did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Heitor Horta 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Altino Guerreiro hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes, FISHBONE 06's Bogoljub Ristić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heitor Horta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FISHBONE 06 reached it. When Farik Dukanović fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FISHBONE 06's protests and gave Farik Dukanović a yellow card for diving instead. Farik Dukanović hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of FISHBONE 06 booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Quaresma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veselin Pejović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veselin Pejović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Erdal Ratkić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Horta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Bogoljub Ristić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte do Carro fans cheered their team off the field, for while FISHBONE 06 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
