In the 51st minute, Rodolfo Arixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Björkman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Arvin Björkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastiano Romarote in the 54th minute of play. The Mongols's Isak Gustafsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vincent Kompany in the 56 minute of the game. The throw-in from Vincent Kompany in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Mongols's César Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Fredriksson in the 91st minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Angelino Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Bernt Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of The Mongols booed when Ilulea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Izydor Wydrych shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelino Mederi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Ilulea FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ilulea FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
