Hawk Tuah FC's Franz Kühne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiano Romarote in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Big Dickey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Angelino Mederi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franz Kühne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Péron in the 27th minute of the match. Ilulea FC's Sebastiano Romarote got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Sebastiano Romarote notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hawk Tuah FC's Franz Kühne. Franz Kühne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Vincent Kompany fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilulea FC's protests and gave Vincent Kompany a yellow card for diving instead. Vincent Kompany hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Hawk Tuah FC's Triantafyllos í Lon Jacobsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vincent Kompany, made in the 37th minute of the game. Angelino Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Big Dickey in the 40th minute of play. Hawk Tuah FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rikard Klint in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Big Dickey in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Mederi saved Ilulea FC from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Big Dickey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Mederi. Big Dickey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastiano Romarote stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Dickey in the 52nd minute of the match. If Big Dickey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Big Dickey in the 54th minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Angelino Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Big Dickey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute Big Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Dickey might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Mederi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Big Dickey ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Big Dickey in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. Sebastiano Romarote could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Franz Kühne made a huge save. Angelino Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Dickey in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Big Dickey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Mederi was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Franz Kühne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Péron. Sebastiano Romarote struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Franz Kühne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilulea FC. Diego Armando Péron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Franz Kühne made a huge save. In the 88th minute Sonic Supereko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sebastiano Romarote left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilulea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hawk Tuah FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Reno in the 96th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hubert Ahlquist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
