In the 4th minute Ezequiel Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Borja, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Prospero Maju came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Aristides Castel. But to his dismay, Aristides Castel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Aristides Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Borja. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Perfecto during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorino Perfecto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Justino Quinito's late challenge caught a Gallardo y Biscay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Quinito helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Baldomiro Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Alves. Miguel Borjas short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Natalio Mitxaut to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Miguel Borja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Mitxaut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prospero Maju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Castel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Aristides Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Perfecto. Natalio Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Balasi in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Otsoa. Gallardo y Biscay FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
