Natalio Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 10th minute of play. Campus Douro Academy's Américo Palha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Campus Douro Academy from getting a goal against them. Américo Palha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Castel in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Rodas during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nereo Rodas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Américo Palha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Castel in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aristides Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Palha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Ramires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Gusmão Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Natalio Mitxaut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leal Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. Natalio Mitxaut made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Leal Brito sent off a good shot on target. SAN LORENZO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Leal Brito scored to the left of an out of position Natalio Mitxaut, making the score, 0-2. Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel França, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Natalio Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Américo Ramires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natalio Mitxaut, 0-3. When Aristides Castel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Castel couldn't finish the play. SAN LORENZO FC's Ruperto Erlantz was substituted for Justino Quinito. Américo Palha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Casimiro Jenaro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Américo Palha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natalio Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 89th minute of play. Casimiro Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Casimiro Jenaro hit a great ball. Adão Carvalheira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Natalio Mitxaut firmly grabbed it by the left post. Campus Douro Academy's Américo Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Rinaldi in the 95th minute of play. The SAN LORENZO FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campus Douro Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
