Caetano Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Rulli having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Chi Tzalov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Abarca. 14 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Benet Rano came free, but Chi Tzalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chi Tzalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Aballe in the 18th minute of the match. Laércio de Andrade in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chi Tzalov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC BaLiSt from getting a goal against them. Chi Tzalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Laércio de Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Chi Tzalov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pascual Colon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Laércio de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Chi Tzalov made a huge save. In the 48th minute Servet Kılıc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Servet Kılıc to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, FC BaLiSt's Servet Kılıc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geronimo Rulli. Geronimo Rulli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 53 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Colon. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messias in the 59th minute of play. Laércio de Andrade took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chi Tzalov. Chi Tzalov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 65 minutes into the match, Internacional's Laércio de Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chi Tzalov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio de Andrade came free, but Chi Tzalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Chi Tzalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional. Internacional's Zigor Abeita was substituted for Abdelbassir Abubakar. Internacional's Ege Deniz was substituted for Rafael Abarca. 77 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Benet Rano came free, but Chi Tzalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Olimpiu Mercescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Olimpiu Mercescu got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC BaLiSt's zone, Zigor Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chi Tzalov came out of the goal and Zigor Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Servet Kılıc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Geronimo Rulli made a huge save. Benet Rano scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chi Tzalov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC BaLiSt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
