In the 8th minute Brin Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brin Delaney in the 11th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute of the match MeZoPoTaMYa FK got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomáš Velíšek ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tomáš Velíšek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil did a great save. Şeref Özdeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 14th minute of the match. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brin Delaney in the 16th minute of play. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brin Delaney in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Brin Delaney came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Borcz got free with Şeref Özdeş in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brin Delaney in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Brin Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomáš Velíšek in the 32nd minute. Tomáš Velíšek made a great header on MeZoPoTaMYa FK's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Borcz to make the kick off. The MeZoPoTaMYa FK fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Brin Delaney looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Albert Filipoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomáš Velíšek was slow to take the kick. During this time MeZoPoTaMYa FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MeZoPoTaMYa FK's corner Tomáš Velíšek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ysmael Marfil quite easily take care of the ball. The MeZoPoTaMYa FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MeZoPoTaMYa FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
