Anfilogino Amicone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Erramun went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Josiah Ferland hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Bucur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Machine Gun Kelly's zone, Gigel Bucur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Udalaitz came out of the goal and Gigel Bucur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Udalaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Bucur's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 23rd minute, Gigel Bucur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Toronto Marlies FC from getting a goal against them. Toronto Marlies FC's Gerard Pique quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Oihan, made in the 36th minute of the game. The throw-in from Martin Oihan in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Gerard Pique. Francisco Sá hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gerard Pique made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Josiah Ferland. Tadeo Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Bucur in the 44th minute of the match. Martin Oihan made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Gerard Pique.

Machine Gun Kelly's Aristides Boniel was substituted for Conrado Erramun. Machine Gun Kelly's Tony Parker was substituted for Sebastian Kismi. The wind increased when Gigel Bucur made the kick off in the second half. Ian Pansby's late challenge caught a Machine Gun Kelly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Pansby helped the player get up and apologised. Gigel Bucur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Udalaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Tadeo Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tracy Narcisse in the 57th minute. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Lizer in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Aristides Boniel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anfilogino Amicone. 68 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Parker came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Boniel in the 70th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Alberto Lizer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josiah Ferland kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin was substituted for Fatsali Bedirhan. A collision led to Toronto Marlies FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Josiah Ferland hit a great ball. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Boniel in the 80th minute of play. Anfilogino Amicone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Lizer in the 83rd minute of the match. Machine Gun Kelly's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geoffrey Wolden in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Geoffrey Wolden got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anfilogino Amicone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Boniel came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toronto Marlies FC's Gaston Rader was substituted for Tomas Ånger. Tadeo Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Bucur in the 96th minute. Gigel Bucur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Udalaitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigel Bucur slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Toronto Marlies FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Machine Gun Kelly.
