Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Aguirre in the 7th minute of the match. Hack Hounds's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hack Hounds's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Válbson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hack Hounds's Farid Mondragon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Válbson de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Mondragon having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Hack Hounds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Dudu Hermes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dudu Hermes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Farid Mondragon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 30 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Aguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hack Hounds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motta Futebol Clube the free kick. After 30 played minutes Hack Hounds got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Aguirre. Hack Hounds's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Válbson de Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Farid Mondragon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st match minute, Hack Hounds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Lu Ladron had several of the Hack Hounds's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Farid Mondragon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Artur Sabóia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Hack Hounds's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson de Alcântara. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson de Alcântara made a kick off. Farid Mondragon came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Lu Ladron. But to his dismay, Lu Ladron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garry Torpey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hack Hounds defense, Válbson de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farid Mondragon. The Hack Hounds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farid Mondragon should have stopped the shot. Artur Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válbson de Alcântara scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farid Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francesco Gaspari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 70th minute of play forced Hack Hounds's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farid Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 74th minute of play. Gaudencio Aguirre had several of the Motta Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Aírton de Lima as he didn't even see the shot coming.
