In the 12th minute Alvaro Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Iigo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Inácio Cruz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Copérnico F.C.'s Manuel Jatsu. But to his dismay, Manuel Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Marumby's Gugu Magalhães got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marumby's zone, Paolo Kinsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Cruz came out of the goal and Paolo Kinsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marumby's Inácio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Txatxu in the 26th minute of play. Paolo Kinsen scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Luís da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Ferdinant Pierewaaijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Marumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Alvaro Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Pires hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Manuel Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marumby's Inácio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Jatsu in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinant Pierewaaijer made a kick off. Inácio Cruz made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Manuel Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Copérnico F.C.'s zone, Fellipe Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rainerio came out of the goal and Fellipe Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Copérnico F.C. made a substitution. Agustin Raymon replaced Arnulfo Hurko. The audience was convinced that Fellipe Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Rainerio was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Queirós in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Rainerio saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. Inácio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Luís da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marumby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copérnico F.C. the free kick. Luís da Silveira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Marumby's 邱朋朗 was substituted for Pedrinho Seco. Marumby made a substitution. Willian Tinoco replaced Gugu Magalhães. Luís da Silveira hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Luar in the 77th minute of play forced Marumby's goalkeeper Inácio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Luar in the 82nd minute of play forced Marumby's goalkeeper Inácio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Queirós came free, but Amadeo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Lucas Luar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Inácio Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inácio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Raymon in the 92nd minute of play. Amadeo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinant Pierewaaijer in the 97th minute of the match. Copérnico F.C. played a much better game than Marumby and deserved their victory. The Marumby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
