Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wolfsberg HC's Leon Steelman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Jon Bilton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roelof Palsma was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. If Niall Anson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Bilton in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roelof Palsma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jon Bilton came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lindfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Bilton couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Jon Bilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roelof Palsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Leon Steelman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pierre Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Steelman in the 22nd minute of the match. Marek Lomas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Niall Anson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roelof Palsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niall Anson in the 28th minute of play forced Wolfsberg HC's goalkeeper Roelof Palsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brain Heck hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Brendon Holland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roelof Palsma skillfully saved the ball. Leon Steelman had several of the Lindfield's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pierre Dexter as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Klein got free with Pierre Dexter in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Steelman in the 38th minute of play forced Lindfield's goalkeeper Pierre Dexter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Dexter having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bill Ridder during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Wolfsberg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Ridder to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Bilton to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Klein in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Bernard Alards fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfsberg HC's protests and gave Bernard Alards a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Leon Steelman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Klein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Steelman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Dexter having to interfere. Wolfsberg HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Jon Bilton scored to the left of an out of position Roelof Palsma, making the score, 1-1. Leon Steelman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pierre Dexter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Jon Bilton notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wolfsberg HC's Roelof Palsma. Roelof Palsma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camron Coogan charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camron Coogan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lindfield's Camron Coogan got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Camron Coogan off the ground. A collision led to Lindfield getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Camron Coogan hit a great ball. Leon Steelman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roelof Palsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niall Anson in the 89th minute of play. Wolfsberg HC's Jasper Rooy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lindfield. After a rather tough play, Lindfield's Jon Bilton got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Marek Lomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfsberg HC the free kick. A collision led to Lindfield getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marek Lomas hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Wolfsberg HC's Jasper Rooy tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
