With a left leg 江朋竞 saved FC Pepsi from getting behind. 杜凌斌 kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Pepsi's 康彬银 got a free kick in the 12th minute. 任延朋's late challenge caught a Derby County's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 任延朋 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Pepsi getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. 任延朋 hit a great ball. 江朋竞 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Crain, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jeromy Martineau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杜凌斌 in the 18th minute of play. Ahmed Leach's late challenge caught a FC Pepsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ahmed Leach hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Derby County was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otis Kirkland to maneuver through the defense. When 余永耀 fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pepsi's protests and gave 余永耀 a yellow card for diving instead. FC Pepsi's 江朋竞 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig Crain in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Crain in the 31st minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper 江朋竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 余永耀 hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, 曲坤宁 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Leach in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 江朋竞 prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 杜凌斌 to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Chong Beaulac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby County's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chong Beaulac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 江朋竞 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Leach in the 60th minute of the match. If Craig Crain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derby County's Craig Crain got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 江朋竞 came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Derby County's Craig Crain. But to his dismay, Craig Crain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 江朋竞 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Crain, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi's goal looked a bit too open when Chong Beaulac came free, but 江朋竞 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 江朋竞 came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Derby County's Chong Beaulac. But to his dismay, Chong Beaulac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC Pepsi's 楚国峰 got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derby County's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when 杜凌斌 scored to the left of an out of position Jeromy Martineau, making the score, 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by 任延朋 in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Derby County's Theirn Vadeboncoeur. In the 92nd minute Craig Crain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江朋竞 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Craig Crain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
