Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Hillhead FC from getting a goal against them. Vincent Signoret succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, Hillhead FC's Firdauz Ee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blaise Monie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Vincent Signoret came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Poutier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Signoret couldn't finish the play. When Tan Chien-Kwan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillhead FC's protests and gave Tan Chien-Kwan a yellow card for diving instead. Tan Chien-Kwan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hillhead FC's Ali Gopala Pillai got a free kick in the 44th minute. Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Signoret in the 45th minute of play. With splendid footwork Charlie Rieffel arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 47th minute.

The wind increased when Vincent Signoret made the kick off in the second half. Firdauz Ee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Blaise Monie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Poutier FC's zone, SK Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaise Monie came out of the goal and SK Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Carl Pied in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hillhead FC's Farhan Ching. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Signoret in the 62nd minute of play forced Hillhead FC's goalkeeper Hamir Amin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Daniel Huynh with Raoul Vigreux as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Tan Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Hillhead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Yang to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Poutier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Chien-Kwan came free, but Blaise Monie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khai Chong made in the 96th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tan Chien-Kwan however managed to control. Tan Chien-Kwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
