The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steven Bailey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杜凌斌 in the 13th minute of the match. Lloyd Ginn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 江朋竞 having to make a save. Steven Bailey was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and 杜凌斌 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 杜凌斌 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Stevie Renwick kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, FC Pepsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孔宇树 to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Eric Rush was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bloomsbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pepsi the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Rush to make the kick off. FC Pepsi's 江朋竞 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pepsi from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute 杜凌斌 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Bailey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, 曲坤宁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But to his dismay, Lloyd Ginn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bloomsbury walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
