The crowd rose to their feet as SK Lim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roelof Palsma. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Hillhead FC's Firdauz Ee ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roelof Palsma. Roelof Palsma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Firdauz Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamir Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Job Hebels in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Job Hebels made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Firdauz Ee took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Roelof Palsma to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Brain Heck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Firdauz Ee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roelof Palsma. The goal made the score 5-1. Firdauz Ee might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roelof Palsma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Firdauz Ee ran back to his position shaking his head. Roelof Palsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khairul Dyce in the 35th minute of the match. Wolfsberg HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Firdauz Ee scored to the left of an out of position Roelof Palsma, making the score, 6-1. 47 minutes into the game, Bill Ridder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfsberg HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hillhead FC the free kick. Bill Ridder hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Job Hebels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Job Hebels in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Wolfsberg HC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bill Ridder hit a great ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolfsberg HC's goalkeeper Roelof Palsma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Firdauz Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Firdauz Ee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roelof Palsma was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Job Hebels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamir Amin having to interfere. Firdauz Ee took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roelof Palsma. Roelof Palsma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. If Tan Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roelof Palsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firdauz Ee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wolfsberg HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tan Chien-Kwan was slow to take the kick. During this time Hillhead FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Firdauz Ee drilling the ball in to score 9-1 behind Wolfsberg HC's goalkeeper. A collision led to Wolfsberg HC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bill Ridder hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wolfsberg HC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hillhead FC.
