Otis Kirkland's late challenge caught a Rabonas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otis Kirkland helped the player get up and apologised. Eskil Fastesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chong Beaulac's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Marko Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Rabonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Craig Crain came free, but Eskil Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Craig Crain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Fastesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Eskil Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig Crain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Rabonas FC's Hubert Alegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeromy Martineau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jeromy Martineau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Josefsson went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Josefsson made a kick off. Rabonas FC's Bengt Olsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Theirn Vadeboncoeur, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jonatan Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabonas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeromy Martineau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 59 minutes, Rasmus Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabonas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Ekerot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rabonas FC's Malte Stålman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pierre Cates, made in the 64th minute of the game. Jeromy Martineau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Derby County's Jeromy Martineau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Josefsson in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Olov Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Crain in the 87th minute of play. Hubert Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Derby County's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Josefsson came free, but Jeromy Martineau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Derby County players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rabonas FC.
