Gehan Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Inchibeg's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Rieffel came free, but Gehan Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Signoret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gehan Palmer having to interfere. When Charlie Rieffel came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Poutier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Rieffel couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Inchibeg getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Beartlai McGlenn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Signoret in the 32nd minute of play forced Inchibeg's goalkeeper Gehan Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gehan Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Signoret in the 34th minute of the match. Phillip McJohnny kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Vincent Signoret recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gehan Palmer. Vincent Signoret showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Doyle in the 40th minute of play forced Poutier FC's goalkeeper Blaise Monie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Poutier FC got a corner. Inchibeg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henri Fresnel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Henri Fresnel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inchibeg's Gehan Palmer did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Fresnel got free with Gehan Palmer in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alan Doyle charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Doyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Inchibeg getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alan Doyle hit a great ball. If Alphonse Lourdel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Signoret to strike the kick off in the second half. Henri Fresnel scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gehan Palmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Vincent Signoret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gehan Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 58th match minute, Inchibeg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaden Branson to maneuver through the defense. Blaise Monie made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Beartlai McGlenn sent off a good shot on target. When Vincent Signoret came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Poutier FC fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Inchibeg's zone, Charlie Rieffel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gehan Palmer came out of the goal and Charlie Rieffel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Vincent Signoret put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gehan Palmer. Inchibeg's Gehan Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Signoret in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Inchibeg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenan McPaul to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Vincent Signoret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gehan Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaise Monie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Poutier FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inchibeg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
