Wolfsberg HC's Roelof Palsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Doyle in the 2nd minute of play. Inchibeg's Alan Doyle got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roelof Palsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of Inchibeg booed when Wolfsberg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Ridder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gehan Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Job Hebels, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Job Hebels made a precise shot to the right of Gehan Palmer. Inchibeg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jasper Rooy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gehan Palmer. 0-2. Alan Doyle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roelof Palsma came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Doyle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 25th minute. Inchibeg's Gehan Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Steelman in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Job Hebels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Beartlai McGlenn made a precise shot to the right of Roelof Palsma. Wolfsberg HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Roelof Palsma was a little too slow when Alan Doyle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-3. In the 48th minute, Job Hebels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Job Hebels struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gehan Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfsberg HC. When Bill Ridder fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfsberg HC's protests and gave Bill Ridder a yellow card for diving instead. Brain Heck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gehan Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roelof Palsma having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Inchibeg's goalkeeper Gehan Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Steelman. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
